9:41 am - Guilt ...
|
Religion in most of its present form sucks. On my way back from insti, a dear friend seeks to 'convert' me back to normal values by asserting that we are a holy persona, and life must be lived as per the 'maker's manual'. Geez, whatever happened to free will. This entire vicious cycle of live for a better future or suffer guilt just doesnt make sense to me. Or the idea of rebirth/nirvana. People who want to believe in them, power to them. To me, its just a weak attempt at feeling better about the inevitability of ones' death and adding a meaning to it. You live, you die. Why suffer all your life for imagined guilts about the right things. I prefer to answer my maker in person, not to any of his self appointed agents. WTF?
